ASE Gold: Simply Golden

International competitors who step up to the line with an ASE Gold usually find themselves on the victory podium. Beretta ASE Gold won gold, silver and bronze medals at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, as well as ten individual gold, six silver and twelve bronze medals at the last five World Championships. The ASE Gold originate in the same fabled SO Shop that creates Beretta's coveted Premium Grades. The same attention to detail behind the flawless operation of these magnificent guns guides the manufacture of the ASE Gold competition models.

Masterpieces of Engineering, Design and Execution

The receiver is machined from a single block of forge nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel, hardened for outstanding strangth and durability. It also features Beretta's tough corrosion-resistant Greystone finish with distinctive gold inlays on the sides and floor plate. The ASE Gold's unique boxlock design boasts a Beretta cross bolt breech lock system widely considered to be the strongest in the world. Replaceable hinge-pins and barrel-bearing shoulders ensure that these guns will provide a lifetime of exceptional service. The barrels are cold-hammer forged from pre-bored bars of Boehler antinit steel.

The trigger group assembly is field removable for inspection, cleaning and replacement.

Exactly Like Clockwork

Beretta's detachable trigger group exhibits all the detail and precision of a fime timepiece. It is easily removed for inspection and maintenance. "V"-shaped mainsprings ensure lightning-fast lock times and ultra-crisp trigger pulls. All internal surfaces are carefully polished and the trigger group frame is jeweled. The single selective trigger adjusts to afford three different pull lengths. The spare trigger group, available on request, is fully interchangeable without factory fitting.
